The measurement of pull-out strength according to ETAG 014
The supplementary equipment to the instrument COMTEST OP 1 for pull-out tests of standard wall plugs, plastic anchors etc. as well as of plastic anchors for heat - insulating systems (fully corresponding to requirements of Guideline ETAG 014 for European technical approval) was introduced to market. The complete set is delivered under denote OP 1 - H/TI. The instrument is, of course, possible to use even for the pull-off tests of type S or P after respective equipment is completed.

Polymer concrete containers for low lewel nuclear waste
The development of the contract given by Ministry of industry of CR "Polymer concrete containers for low lewel nuclear waste" was successfully finished after nearly three years of continuous work and effort by the staf of COMSPEC and COMTEST^® divisions. It was developed as coherent series of containers compoundable mutually one inside each other This arrangement unables - within given limits – practically unlimited combination of radiation shielding. Using up to date advance knowledge and technology (nanomaterials, C-fibres, vibrorheology etc.). simultaneously provided excellent mechanical and dynamic properties of developed polymer concrete (e.g. 48 MPa in bending, 76 MPa in compression ).
